VECTOR MARTINI RACING AND BOWERS & WILKINS BECOME PARTNERS IN PERFORMANCE
Bowers & Wilkins and Vector Martini Racing today announced a technical partnership to support the race team’s forthcoming attempt to break the water speed world record across the channel.
Bowers & Wilkins will provide the audio equipment for the Vector Martini race team and the operational crew. The equipment includes the latest in sound performance with Bowers & Wilkins’ wireless headphones for the race team. For the operational crew and media network - filming, recording and streaming the challenge - the kit comprises the most realistic reproduction possible of the vessel’s 1100hp engines.
Every Vector boat and every Bowers & Wilkins product features the very best in futuristic design, combined with quality materials and flawless workmanship. While the brands share a dedication to British adventure and performance in design engineering, their legacies may be better recorded as a common commitment to providing emotionally moving experiences for their customers.
Vector high-performance boats deliver exhilaration on the water. Bowers & Wilkins makes audio equipment and is in the business of delivering exhilaration from music wherever the customer listens.
Mal Crease, CEO of Vector Martini said “We are thrilled to be able to use the best audio equipment in the world. We genuinely appreciate good sound and Vector Martini is pleased to announce this partnership with Bowers & Wilkins. I could not have hoped for a better audio brand to join our growing list of credible partners.”
Joe Atkins, Chairman of Bowers & Wilkins said “This is part of our story. We are all about performance and I am delighted to be able to support this determined British racing team. Like us, Vector is based just along the coast of England. But more significantly, also like us, they have spent decades in the quest for perfection and continue on that path. Vector’s entry level engine package produces over twice the horsepower and torque of a contemporary supercar. Vector is Formula 1 on the water.”
